New state requirements: ND Studies for Grade 4 and Grade 8

Dear Parent/Guardian:
The 2007/08 school year is upon us and we are asking that each child have the following supplies as well as the supplies that pertain to their applicable grade. Also, please write your child's name on items that can be labeled. Thank you.

Each student should have the following:
King James Bible (large print if possible), School Bag, 12 #2 pencils, 1 box of Kleenex, 1 Bottle of Elmer's Glue (no crayola or glitter), 2 large erasers, 1 pkg crayons (24 count), 1 pkg watercolor markers (10 count), 1 4 pkg glue sticks, 4 notebooks (1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade use Wide Rule), 1 Scissors (Metal blade - not plastic, 5th and 6th grade use 5"), 4 Pocket folders of different colors, 1 small box of colored pencils, Tennis Shoes for PE (one for play and one for the gym) and if possible rubber boots for spring.

1st-2nd Grade:
1 Pencil Box, 1 Ruler (with inch and metric), 1 small covered pencil sharpener, Large T-shirt for messy projects (All GRADES)
3rd-4th Grade:
1 Ruler (with inch and metric), 1 3 ring binder (does not need to be new)
5th-8th Grade:
1 brand safe - T plastic ruler, 1 Brand safe - Tcompass, 1 black fine line marker, 1 protractor, 1 calculator, 2 or 3 highlighters

NOTICE: We please ask that NONE of the following are used by students-
Mechanical pencils, ball point pens, and Trapper Keepers.
